Help us stop this barbaric act

Today is "Corrida de Elecciones" day. Despite all our efforts and the promises of the President of Extremadura, a defenceless donkey is being dragged around the streets of Villanueva de la Vera (Cáceres). One of our welfare officers is attending the ritual to collect evidence of this cruel treatment and to help the donkey if need be. At the moment, in spite of the insistent rain, the donkey is being prepared for the "Corrida de Elecciones" ritual. We appeal to the people of Spain to help us stop this barbaric treatment of this innocent animal, if you care and want to help, keep watching this site. We will be posting evidence and a call for protest against this cruel event. Please help us to stop this cruelty from continuing year after year!
