Educating Puyol

Puyol (Rescued from Murcia) is a rather feisty stallion who had built himself a rather dubious reputation for attacking and biting people… but all that is about to change as he has now moved to his new home in Fuente de Piedra, where he will be given the best possible care… and a good chance to improve his manners!

Stallions can be rather difficult to handle, especially if they have spent a lot of time on their own as was the case with Puyol, and expert help is needed when re-educating them. It is on those occasions that our staff become “Donkey Whisperers” and utilise all their expertise to take care of the situation and turn him into the gentledonk he was born to be.Bit by bit, he will be introduced to good manners in a gentle, non aggressive way.

We are sincerely hoping that this beautiful donkey will be soon in shape to meet and greet visitors in a rather distinguished way, as the rest of our lovely residents. He has great potential but his re-education process needs to be carried out by expert staff. In a few months he will be a completely happy and adapted donkey.
