Dearest Friends,
Needless to say our staff at El Refugio del Burrito would do anything to guarantee the welfare of our donkeys and help them get all the care they need.
These days, with so many bad news around on papers and newscasts, we have thought about doing something funny that will also help our donkeys even further.
This is the idea:

During these holidays, we try to focus on the bright side of life; the company of loved ones, the parties, the celebrations... very often forgetting darker elements that are, unfortunately, also part of the day to day in this much cherised time of year.

Our latest rescues confirm the above.

Flor de Luna, Bambi and Tambor are our latest rescues. They came to us from another association called CYD Santamaría which rescues and cares for horses. Their stories are tragic Christmas tales.
