In September 2008 Brian and Anna Harrison from England spent two weeks here at El Refugio del Burrito as volunteers.

Pictured with them is Panchito who came from Calatayud in North East Spain.

Panchito was one of the very first donkeys to ever arrive at El Refugio del Burrito in 2004. His best friend is Trevosky and share what is called the "car park paddock". Both of them were working donkeys that were relinquished since their owners could no longer use them for work.
