Bercebú is happy with Óliver once again

At the end of August, Bercebú, one of our donkeys in a Donkey Guardian home, lost his beloved companion Rocco.

During the whole time Rocco was in hospital, Bercebú stayed by his side, but unfortunately things didn't go well and he had to go back home without his beloved companion.

Once there, his adoptive parents Marian and Daniel noticed that Bercebú did not stop braying (a behaviour not typical for him). They made sure to give Bercebú all the affection and attention he demanded while our welfare team continued to search for, and train, a new companion.

Finally, after a month of work, Óliver came into Bercebú's life. Both showed a lot of interest from the beginning and once it was safe, we let them get to know each other without any fences in between.

Bercebú met up with Óliver and from the very beginning they became inseparable. Since then Bercebú has been happy again with Óliver and has never brayed again.
